Catherine, the doll isn't mine but belongs to the local historical museum, part of a donation by a long-time local resident. But thanks for the information. I don't think the museum knows what she is. I'll pass it along.

This is a Nancy Ann Storybook doll, Buddy. There was a doll maker named Nancy Ann in the 40's who's dolls were collected and I had several. Each had a name, sometimes after the seasons, musicals, nursery rhymes etc. This one might be 'April Showers', as she has the umbrella. She's lovely and if you ever want to sell her I might add her to my other 5 'girls'. Beautiful photo and a beautiful doll.
